ABOUT

 THE PAST:

I was born in Quezon City Philippines. Moved to Long Beach, CA when I was 2. Then to Seattle, WA when I was 5. After high school I moved to and fro Seattle and Los Angeles, interim school quarters. I attended the University of Washington where I studied Political Science with an emphasis on Media and Social Justice. After working as a tax specialist and legal assistant (both mind numbing desk jobs), I decided I needed to do something creative. I've always loved fashion and art, so naturally those are the fields that I gravitated towards. In 2012 I went back to UW for the web-design certificate program to complete my skills set.

Some random fashion jobs I've had: Visual merchandiser at Moksha Clothing, Contributor/ Intern at Seattle Metropolitan Magazine, co-produced "Grocery" fashion show with D-List Magazine, operations/ marketing at Alhambra LLC. Produced fashion shows for Logan Neitzel, Strut Boutique, Gold Coast Trading Company, LAVSH, and Naomi B. Styled photo shoots for Microsoft, Getty Images, Freetime Industries, Girl Scouts of America, Seattle Models Guild, to name a few.

THE PRESENT:

Other projects I'm working on include: Producing the third BadWill Market; an indie marketplace for local boutiques, vintage vendors, designers, and artists. Launching my very own vintage storefront Gidget Shop; where I do the art direction/ brand management/ and some of the buying. I also work doing event promotions and production for Treats Club; a small creative agency.

THE FUTURE:

I'm in the building stages of Style Produce Create, where I consult small fashion/ retail businesses such as clothing lines, boutiques, and indie designers on their overall branding, identity, and creative marketing. I specialize in helping brands find a look that suits them best, and a voice that is distinct. I hope to build a small empire and work with people who are passionate and have a vision.
