While fashion is my number one choice as far as jobs and a career go, it is definitely not my first love. Deep down I've always wanted to be a food reviewer, or work for the Zagat Survey. I even considered applying for a job at All Recipes, since they are locally based . While I don't see a future in the food industry, I do dabble in some graphic design/ marketing and helping my boyfriend Michal out at his work at Cafe Kanape. I designed their website, and when they have a special event, or need some graphic design work done, I'm their girl. .
On Sunday July 1st Michal will be celebrating his birthday with a pop-up restaurant "From Czech Republic With Love". It will be the first of many pop-ups at Kanape, featuring dishes and visiting cultures from Eastern Europe. First stop: the Czech Republic. Michal will be sharing his love for food with his friends and family, and is inviting the public to come join the party. This pop-up is definitely not for vegans and vegetarians, but if you are into cured meats, goulash, blood sausage, and fried trout, then you don't want to miss out. Some side dishes will range from gnocchi, sauerkraut, red cabbage, and dumplings.
