Growing up I had my mother, and three extra mothers (my older sisters). I was always well taken care of and I had the advantage of watching my sisters go through the troubles of drama, discipline, and mistakes so when it was my turn, the blow was half as bad. I think with age comes understanding...and these days I'm starting to realize how I'm a spitting image of my mother and my three older sisters. Throughout my adolescence I either wanted to be just like my sisters and nothing like my mother...but now that I'm 27 I see that my sisters and I have a little bit of my mother's qualities in each of us. Difficult, anal retentive, melodramatic, but also...loyal, hardworking, and crafty. People always admire my knack for the domesticated life...and I have no one else to thank but my Mother.
