One year later and we are back and in full effect. BadWill Market returns for its third event and I have a feeling it's going to be bigger and badder this time around! Last summer was a learning experience to say the least. We got the plug pulled on us by the City of Seattle, but it happened at the most opportune time. It taught us a lesson or two, and it allowed us to regroup, rethink, and restrategize. We are shifting gears and approaching this event as a "marketplace" rather than a flea market and putting a lot of effort into promoting participating vendors prior to the event. More than anything I want BadWill to grow and become a Seattle staple, and no better way to accomplish that than by adding a couple of key people on the team. Phil, co-founder of BadWill Market and head of Treats Club is in charge of creative, documenting, and branding. Grace Kelly of GKPR is co-producing the event and helping with sponsorships, press, and logistics. Also on board is Jess Estrada of Fresh Jess who will handle the social media for the event, and will host her very own social media lounge the day of. We have a great team and I couldn't be happier.
